Today is the official end to my relationship.
I waited. I tried to be patient. I tried not to be hurt. But it was time for me to cut off the weight and be ready to really start brand new in Chicago.
I am a little sad. Mainly I am really excited by the future and this 100% fresh start I have been looking forward to. I deserve the best kind of love and sadly this relationship wasn’t it. I’m 22 years old. I still have so many adventures left.
I am a firm believer that when a door closes there is a really good reason it did. So here is to finding that next door!

Trying to fit my life into a suitcase is a tedious process

I am writing my end of college thank you notes to staff, faculty, and friends. Holy crap I am a lucky person. These people should have never been in my life, but somehow they ended up next to me and have made everything amazing.

The Dog Days are Over
Well, it is May.
This May comes with a terrifyingly large amount of a change and movement.
This May I have to:
- Cassie’s Graduation
- Mayan’s wedding, pt. 2 in Palo Alto
- Graduate college
- Go to New Jersey to help rebuild from Hurricane Sandy
- Move to Chicago (14 hours when I get back from NJ)
- Mayan’t Wedding, pt. 3- New York
Then the first week of June I start my full time suit and will work 9-5 for the rest of my life.
I am not freaking out at all.
